Date with my Husband -NOT

Well as it turned out Tommy and I didn't get to go out tonight. After countless "STOP FOOLING AROUND" " SIT DOWN AND GET YOUR HOMEWORK DONE" well needless to say my wonderful girls didn't get it done in time for us to go out tonight. So I called my Aunt to tell her she was off the hook for tonight...oh well maybe next time. As for tonight MY 2 sweet little pains..I mean girls had to suffer through another lecture from mom and dad. Unfortunately butts were spanked and tears were shed but I hope we got our point accross. THIS TIME.we'll see.

Getting Caught UP!!

I am sorry I have not updated by blog and Thank You Mrs. Fox for reminding me that it's not Friday anymore. Please don't send the Blog Police after me.
Since Friday, we had the typical weekend starting with Upward on Saturday. Allie got to cheer her sister on. It was hard keeping up with coaching and watching Ashley play. Ashley's team won and Ashley got Best Offense because she has made a basket at each game so far.
Saturday night Allie went to a friends party so Ashley had a girl fro her basketball team come over and spend the night. We also went out with the Duncan Family. We met at KFC for dinner then we were going to go bowling but there was like a hour wait for a lane so we ended up back at our house. It turned out a lot better! Steve went with Tommy to get Allie at 9:30 so while they were gone I taught Kelly how to play Rummy. She was hooked by the time we were done.

Miss Ashley

Sunday was Church then we went to lunch at Motos with Dena and Uncle Rodger and The fox family. We ran into another family from church the Rogers. Their girls coach for Allie's cheer leading. So they asked if we wanted to join them.
So all was well until Sunday night Ashley's stomach was bothering her so we stayed home from the evening service but it was Allie the woke up in the middle of the night throwing up!!! Poor Allie.
Luckily Monday was Tommy's day off so I went to work and he stayed home with the girls. So much for his much needed day off ;-)!
I stayed home with Allie Tuesday and we were packed with homework but It also gave me the chance to catch up on really scrubbing my Bathrooms. Tommy's shower alone took 1 hour. It's hard to get all the grease off.
Well is Wednesday now and both girls are back to school and I am getting ready to head out to work. Tonight Tommy is taking me out...I wonder what he has in mind. Later!!!!

I can't beleive it's Friday

This week flew on by. I personally had a a lot of sleepless nights since I had an appointment scheduled for my hair cut. Well lets begin with Tuesday. It was back to school from the Winter Break. The girls got their hair cut. Allie had Cheerleading practice so Tommy and Ashley got a to spend some quality time together. Wednesday was a nice quiet evening of homework and more homework. I can't even imagine what Middle School is going to be like. Then THURSDAY. I still wasn't sure what I wanted done to my hair, or if I was even going to cut it.

To our surprise Tommy was home early from work. The girls were so excited. Me too! They have been working him pretty hard the past few weeks. Tommy has had a lot of jobs where he has been verbally abused by co-workers and even managers that didn't look out for their employees and treated him bad. This time last year was the hardest time for us since we moved here. It is amazing what a difference a year makes. But, even with how hard he has had to work we Praise the Lord for his job. He Loves it there and they do treat him really good. This job is everything we prayed for. I am so glad to see him finally happy and content. Well Thanks to his bosses letting him off work early, I was able to get out of the house without my girls and get to Beth's House for my haircut. I won't tell you what I did but you can see what it did if you click on the link to Jennifer's blog"The Fox Family" . I'll tell you all about it tomorrow...

Well its Friday Night and it's movie time so I am off .....

Family Day

Today we got so excited when Tommy called to say he was on his way home at 1:00. Except for Sundays we hardly have seen him. After he got home we went out to pick up his truck. He finally sold the Quest so he bought a 1999 S10 Truck. After we picked it up we headed over to Cheddars for Dinner. I don't know what it is about that place but even though it wasn't busy it still took us about 2 hours to get out of there. We were going to go bowling but there weren't any lanes so we decided to have a family game night.

Sorry was the game of the night. I don't know where they got it from but those two little girls of mine are SO competitive. Ashley got the nickname of BP (bi-polar) One minute she was giggling then the next she was growling at someone for sending her home. Allie would just pout and get revenge. Ashley ended up winning which made Allie pout even more. But all in all it was really nice to just spend some quality family time together. Well it is back to school tomorrow until next time... Later!

Weekend Recap

Friday after school the girls wanted to go see Dena and Uncle Rodger so we ended up staying for pizza and a movie. We watched Resident Evil. It was OK..but a little gory for my liking. We got home around 8:30 and then the Fox Family came over so Jennifer could help me with my header. So I made some Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins for Jennifer to Thank her.

Saturday was another day of Upward Basketball and Cheerleading. The Lady Panthers lost this time but Ashley said she had fun and that is all the really matters. She was a little upset during the game because Tommy got stuck at work and didn't make it until halftime to coach. He has been working 6 days straight for the past 3 weeks. He is so tired when he gets home. We miss him. He also ended up going into work on Thursday @ 10:00 because they needed him to do a job. but anyway...It was a good close game and we were all excited when Tommy got there. After the game Tommy wanted to go to Ryans for dinner. I told him The Kingsport Ryans isn't like the one in Sevierville but he wanted to go and he was HUNGRY so I didn't dare argue. As I thought the food wasn't that good. Even the girls said "Please don't make us come here again". When we got home Tommy and the girls played with blocks...yes blocks. Tommy made a pretty cool house. Ashley got mad at me when I told them to pick it up and get ready for bed. She said but it's a special house...Daddy made it. Being the sentimental person that I am NOT..I knocked it over and said now you don't have a choice..hee hee...I know MEAN MOM.

Sunday we went to church. Tommy and I were really excited because one of the kids in our Sunday School class got saved today...Praise the Lord!!! Another one that had been coming for a while finally joined our church today too. After church we went to lunch with Tommy and Christy Willis and Dena and Uncle Rodger. When we got home Tommy had some chores to catch up on, as did I but since there is NO school tomorrow I'll finish what I didn't get done today.
Wel I will leave you this evening with picture from Tommy's House Of Blocks...See I'm not that mean, at least I took a picture before I knocked it down. Just look at the craftsmanship! What a MAN!!!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It SNOW!

It was 7:00 in the morning at a time of the day when I typically hear " I'm Tired" "I don't want to get up"... NOT TODAY!!!! Yeah! no school !!!! Yes we are on another snow day today. We woke up to about 3 inches. See Jennifer I don't "bull" anyone. The girls were up with there snow clothes on by 7:15. It's funny how something so cold can really light a fire under your kids to get them moving in the morning. The girls from next door even came over to join in on the fun. Thankfully Tommy called work and they told him he could take his normal day off. He has been working 6 days since vacation. I love it when he is home with the girls. Watching them all play together is my favorite thing to do. I always say I have 3 kids. Plus being wet and cold just isn't my thing. So after I took a few pictures of the kids, had a snowball fight with Tommy, Got Ashley redressed, I went inside to start the hot water and I will pickup my house after I do this blog.

Sorry the pictures are a little dark. The sun wasn't fully out yet.

Upward: First Game Day

Sorry this post took a while. I got sick Saturday night, still felt bad on Sunday and then last night I had a PTA meeting. So I have a few minutes before I head off to work.
Saturday was crazy. I picked up the girls from Dena then we went to Wal-Mart for snacks and Allie needed a white pair of tennis shoes. We got to the gym at 12:15 Allie had to cheer at 12:30. Hey I know I cut it close but at least I was on time and that says a lot for me.
Here are some pic of Allie. Thanks Jennifer for letting me use your camera.

After Al cheered we waited with The Duncan's and fluffed Bre's Pom Poms. Dena and Uncle Rodger got there just in time for Ashley's game at 2:50.

Tommy had to work so he met us there to coach Ashley's game. Here are a few pics from Ashley's game.

Another great action shot! Thanks for bringing the camera Dena and Uncle Rodger.
Ashley did a great job, she even made a basket which thrilled her. Not bad for her first time playing. We are so very proud of her. I was a nervous wreck the hole time, but it was exciting!
Ashley said she couldn't wait till next week. Oh yeah her team Won...Go Lady Panthers!!!!

happy late birthday

Brandon Joseph I am so sorry I didn't call Friday. Uncle Tommy told me that morning and I said I KNOW. But typical Auntie Jayme I goofed and went scatter brained. I promise the next time I see you I will make it up to you. You are my Favorite 9 Year old. I can't believe you are 9 already. Well since I am putting this on my blog everyone that sees this better hold me accountable when I get to CA. I love you very much Brando.

Date Night

Well Tommy and I finally got a Date Night. It had been a long time since we had one. Dena and Uncle Rodger were nice and brave enough to take the girls ALL NIGHT. The girls were excited because I got them McDonald's for dinner (ya I know not very nutritious). They got even more excited when Dena gave them a surprise... a truck full of toys. A lot of Arts and Craft type stuff...which they love and of course some Barbies. I said goodnight to the girls to which Ashley replied "Have fun on your date kissing Daddy" Where does she get this stuff????
Anyway we went to see the movie I Am Legend. Kelly and Steve Duncan met us there. I would have to say that it was the most intense movie I had ever seen. I told Kelly I needed a massage after it.
After the movie we went to Cracker Barrel for Desert. I love to browse through the Country Store. There is a lot of really cute stuff there. We had desert, well Tommy did. My stomach wasn't felling too good so he had both. Steve and Kelly shared a sundae. Well had a taste of one it wasn't too big. By the time we got home we just crashed since Tommy had to work the next day and I wasn't feeling to good. Even though it was nice to get out with him talk and enjoy or time together. I am extremely blessed to have such a great husband.
Well I am off to get the girls. We have Upward Basketball so I need to save Dena and get the girls ready.
