My Family has arrived, Yippie!

Sorry I haven't posted I haven't been feeling to good and I have had to take care of a few things before my family got here.

Last Thursday I was going to meet Kelly and her girls at the pool but it was 2:00 before she was done with work and my mouth was still hurting so I decided to just have them come here to swim. Steve got to come to. All Kelly wanted was the sun anyway and the girls just wanted to swim. We had a great visit, they ended up staying for dinner so Tommy got to spend some time with them too.

Friday my mouth and stomach was still bothering me so I had a very lazy day until Tommy got home. He was having stomach issues too, but I had things to get so off I went.

Saturday my family arrived safe and sound from California. The girls and I had to head out of my house at 6:30 am to meet them at the Knoxville airport. With all the construction going on we had to take a detour, that wasn't to bad. It was all worth it because THEY ARE HERE. Ashley even got up for the trip with no problems. After we had been home for a while I noticed that our house was not cooling down after putting the AC on. So we called Emily's (Allie's friend that I've been watching this summer) mom Michelle because her husband is a heat pump guy. He came over and fixed it for us. It would have been about a $400.00 job but he did it FOC. Tommy had fixed there cars before so he said he was happy to return the favor.

Well my family was still on California time to we had a late night. We sat out on the front porch chatting most of the night, just watching the storm come it. After Tommy started feeling better he joined us. The lighting show was wonderful.

Sunday Kelly kept our Sunday School class, so we stayed home from church. Since most of us didn't get up until 11:00, Tommy made brunch (YES Tommy). Played some dominoes then we went to my Aunts for dinner. We stayed until about 8 then back at home so my dad could watch the Bourne Identity. I was shocked to hear that he hadn't seen them yet. So that is our plan for the next 3 days. 1 movie a night.

My post will be very limited because I don't want to waste any time that I have with them, so I will post when I can. Until then God Bless

Endodontics and more

We have been busy getting things ready for My family. They will be here on Saturday, yippee! Can't wait. Ashley is so happy that her favorite person will be here. I have been telling her that unless she keeps her room clean, Papaw will have to stay with my Aunt. Because Papaw and Mamaw don't like messes, So that's worked so far.

Tommy has been really busy working on cars at work and home. His job is never done. Cassie came by Monday for him to check her breaks before heading to Florida. While she was there the kids swam. Ian and Ashley got along playing basketball while Allie and Macey did the girl thing. Mr. Cade went back and forth, but I think he liked the pool the most. I thought they were crazy because it was too cold! When it was time to go, Macey wanted to stay and to our surprise so did Ian. In the end Macey did but Ian had practice so he didn't.

Well after 3 years of on and off pain, I finally went to the dentist to have my broken teeth checked out. Make a note, Don't ever let your teeth go, your check book, and your husband won't be too happy. So my dentist said I will need to have 2 root canals and build-up with crowns, Lovely!

So Tuesday I went for my first root canal. The procedure in it's self wasn't too bad. I however hated the fact that I felt like I was gonna drown because I couldn't swallow. Then after 2 days my jaw is still sore, but hey NO tooth pain. I will wait for my family to go back before I have the rest of the work done. I would have to ruin my time with them.

Yesterday I wasn't feeling to good, so I laid around while the girl's played in the pool. Last night the Wallens came by so Tommy could fix Nicole's breaks. The only thing Tommy asked for was PIZZA. That is his favorite form of payment. Nicole and I played dominoes and chatted, while the kids swam. I think Duffer was supervising Tommy. Davis wanted to stay the night, so Tommy camped out with the kids downstairs. I however NEVER pass up my own bed.

Well Service Master just left from shampooing my carpets. I think we are going to meet Kelly at the pool later today, we will see.

Here are some pictures from when the Allen's stopped by.

I was wondering where they went off to.

She's Back!!!

My quiet week is OVER! My Allie is home. She had a really good time there. She took the cell phone, so she called every morning and night. I think she just wanted to be a big girl and use it.
Tommy went to have lunch with her Tuesday, when he got there he said she was crying because she thought he wasn't coming.
Wednesday I picked Tommy up for lunch along with Ash and her friend Abby and Emily to meet Al for lunch (at Allie's request). The kids ate then Allie showed me where they were sleeping. Man those girls' can thrash a room. I just laughed (since I didn't have to clean it) They were suppose to go up there for quiet time, but they were jumping on beds, yelling down to the boys, and just being silly girls. We didn't get to stay long because I had to get Tommy back to work. Thursday I took Ashley and her friend to the movies, then off to get Ashley's bangs cut (Stay Away from the Length) . When Tommy got home we picked up Jennifer and Blake then headed up to get our kids. we ate Dinner then the kids sang some songs they had learned during the week. This is when my laughing came back to bit me. They asked for help to "clean up" They had plenty of it where we ate, so off I headed to the Cabin. Kelly and I got as much as we could, she tackled the kitchen while I vacuumed, picked up all the stuff that was left under the beds. Then I helped Arlena clean the bathrooms. Tommy informed me that the boys' room were already clean.
Not even 5 minutes driving home the girls started fighting. I was getting on them for fighting. Then I made the comment "Allie's Home" Allie started crying, Tommy got on me for making the comment, I got on him for getting on me...I think you see where I am going with this. Yep Thing are back to normal and the Clymens' House... and I wouldn't change a thing.
Yesterday, Tommy was off, so it was back to the lake with the Wallens ( check out the pictures). I told him to enjoy it because next week it is back to business getting the house back in order and finishing all our projects, since my Dad, MalmaMom and My Grandpa will be here next week, I can't wait!
Enjoy the slide show from Camp! Thank you to Jennifer for camp pics and Nicole for the pictures from the lake (see her blog)

Spreading Her Wings

Since Tommy's birthday we have stayed busy enjoying each day with good friends. Today however it is very quiet. It's just Me and Ash. Allie is off for a brand new adventure. She will be at Children's Camp for 3 Nights. Last night as I was packing she came in crying. She was a little nervous about going. She has never been gone from us for more than 1 night. We are very picky about who we let her stay with. So 3 whole night is even hard for me. I know she is with wonderful people from our church that will take good care of her. It's just really hitting that she is growing up so fast.

It really hit me when I was going to bed last night. I was looking at her sleeping and just wondered if she really knows how much I love her. I am so hard on her sometimes. I really need to stop complaining so much about the small stuff and just enjoy each moment with my girls, no matter how frustrated I may be with them. Before too long they will be off enjoying special moments with their children.

I was really proud of her this morning. She didn't cry too much. She was stronger than me. As that bus was pulling away I lost it.

Now I am off to take Ashley to Dena's. So things will be VERY quiet.

The Up's and WAY Down of our Weekend

Friday we had a great time at the pool with good friends, unfortunately we had to leave a little early so the girls could rest up for the Softball game. It was a very good game close, HOT game, but in the end they did lose by one point. I have mixed feeling about the loss. Sad for them but in a way glad because they needed to experience a defeat. I had a bad headache from being out in the sun all day so I went home while the girls and Tommy went to swim at their coaches house.

Saturday they had another game which they won 11-2. Dena and Uncle Rodger came for that game. I had to struggle under my umbrella to keep out of the sun but thankfully Tommy showed up when he did with our canopy to save the day. After the game Tommy went back to work, while us girls went out to eat with some of the team.

Allie went home with Emily, so Ash and I headed home for some Lazy Time. Tommy wanted us ready to go out on the boat when he got home. We decided to try out Boone Lake. Allie's friend Emily has a house right on the water with a dock. We launch out there then took the girls tubing. After about a hour of playing and we were heading back, Emily's cousin was just finishing up her ride when things went wrong. As she was coming up to the boat, Tommy put it in neutral, then all of a sudden she was yelling that she was stuck and in pain. Long story short. We had to call 911 and have EMS come out to free her. They took her the the hospital and we were there until early Sunday morning. She ended up with about 70 stitches. We still don't know how it all happened. But Praise the Lord she is OK.

So as you can guess Ashley and I didn't make it to church (she is not the best person to wake up). After Tommy and Allie got home, Tommy picked up his garage a bit. With it being So HOT outside he ended up having himself a lazy day, asleep on the couch, while I watched the race.

Today Allie started Cheer practice for the JV Charges. She is really excited. We don't have any softball games until Friday so as long as I get my chores done, we are heading to the pool to stay cool.

Have a great Week!!!

The Sun

This had been one HOT week!

The girls and I have been enjoying the past few days(aside from the constant bickering). Monday night after their game Tommy took them out on the boat and met up with a few people for the field that live on the lake. I enjoyed some little me time. My mom radar however went off when Allie informed me that they jumped off the roof into the water. Come to find out this family has a diving board off the top deck the goes over the lake.

Tuesday Allie started tutoring. We had planned to go to the pool but with the weather being on the cool side I did my laundry while the girl's did some arts and crafts. That night the girls had VBS.

Wednesday I caved and took the girls to the pool. It was warm but with the cool breeze, I kind of forgot to reapply the sunscreen. Yep I got burnt. I didn't notice it until I was setting on the couch and wondered why I was so hot. Looked in the mirror and just shock my head. I know better. I am the one always preaching about the sun. Lesson Learned.

Yesterday I decided to let my skin heal a bit. The girls and I went to visit Dena, Uncle Rodger and Teddy. We had lunch then headed out downtown to try out Discovery Ice Cream . It was yummy. I do have to say that Marble Slab is still my favorite.

We got home just in time for the girls to go to there softball game. This time they tied, so as of right now they are still undefeated. It was a hot night though. I brought my beach umbrella to keep the sun away. It was kind of funny when I turned around most of the parents were huddled behind me to take advantage of the shade too!

This morning Allie has tutoring again and then we are off to the pool with sunscreen in hand. They have another game tonight so this time we are bringing the canopy for everyone to enjoy the shade.

I hope you all are having a great week.

Is it Monday already??????????

Wow, this weekend went by way to fast.

Friday night we kicked things off at Thunder Valley for the Night of Fire. (Check out Jennifer's blog for pics). Monster Trucks, Nitro Funny Cars going 310 mph, good friends, family, and a car crushing Megasauras what more could you ask for...AWESOME night.

Saturday the girls had a game. We played the red team again and won. I for one am so proud of our team. They are doing so good. Most of the girls on our team are playing for the first time. We have 2 girls on our team that are 4 graders going to 5 grade the rest are 2 and 3 graders. The others teams have a lot of girls that have played before and are older. So the fact that we are still undefeated is amazing. We also have a really good group of girls that show great sportsmanship.
Friday night at the drags Nicole was talking about my tacos so I just told them to come on over any time and I would make them. So we planned it for Saturday night. The girls really enjoyed being little mommies to Jett and Rylee while the adults got to talk, watch the race and we introduced Duffer and Nicole to Dominoes. I really enjoyed getting to spend time with them. It was the first time we had got just our two families together. Tommy and Duffer have a lot in common... one being they have poor taste in race car drivers! He! He! We had a great time even though we got to bed late.

It was hard to get up for church on Sunday. Service was great. Lunch took a little longer than we thought. It was the longest "only 10 minutes wait" of my life. I think the lady at Perkins needs a new watch. Oh well, it gave us some time to catch up with the Allen's and more time with the Wallens.

Sunday night was VBS kick off night. This was the first time since moving here that I didn't volunteer to help. With the girls having 4 games this week I didn't want to commit. I checked before just dropping of the girls but everyone was covered so off I went back home. (The mall was closing)

I stayed up until almost 3:00 this morning working on my blog. So what do you all think????

So that brings us to today. Tommy hurt his arm last week, so he has been off a few (to many) days. He goes back to work tomorrow with a clean bill of health. At least that's what DR. Jayme says. The girls are out playing with Emily and Bre. OH, gotta go more girl drama to attend to, Lord Help Me Please!
