Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It SNOW!

It was 7:00 in the morning at a time of the day when I typically hear " I'm Tired" "I don't want to get up"... NOT TODAY!!!! Yeah! no school !!!! Yes we are on another snow day today. We woke up to about 3 inches. See Jennifer I don't "bull" anyone. The girls were up with there snow clothes on by 7:15. It's funny how something so cold can really light a fire under your kids to get them moving in the morning. The girls from next door even came over to join in on the fun. Thankfully Tommy called work and they told him he could take his normal day off. He has been working 6 days since vacation. I love it when he is home with the girls. Watching them all play together is my favorite thing to do. I always say I have 3 kids. Plus being wet and cold just isn't my thing. So after I took a few pictures of the kids, had a snowball fight with Tommy, Got Ashley redressed, I went inside to start the hot water and I will pickup my house after I do this blog.

Sorry the pictures are a little dark. The sun wasn't fully out yet.

Upward: First Game Day

Sorry this post took a while. I got sick Saturday night, still felt bad on Sunday and then last night I had a PTA meeting. So I have a few minutes before I head off to work.
Saturday was crazy. I picked up the girls from Dena then we went to Wal-Mart for snacks and Allie needed a white pair of tennis shoes. We got to the gym at 12:15 Allie had to cheer at 12:30. Hey I know I cut it close but at least I was on time and that says a lot for me.
Here are some pic of Allie. Thanks Jennifer for letting me use your camera.

After Al cheered we waited with The Duncan's and fluffed Bre's Pom Poms. Dena and Uncle Rodger got there just in time for Ashley's game at 2:50.

Tommy had to work so he met us there to coach Ashley's game. Here are a few pics from Ashley's game.

Another great action shot! Thanks for bringing the camera Dena and Uncle Rodger.
Ashley did a great job, she even made a basket which thrilled her. Not bad for her first time playing. We are so very proud of her. I was a nervous wreck the hole time, but it was exciting!
Ashley said she couldn't wait till next week. Oh yeah her team Won...Go Lady Panthers!!!!

happy late birthday

Brandon Joseph I am so sorry I didn't call Friday. Uncle Tommy told me that morning and I said I KNOW. But typical Auntie Jayme I goofed and went scatter brained. I promise the next time I see you I will make it up to you. You are my Favorite 9 Year old. I can't believe you are 9 already. Well since I am putting this on my blog everyone that sees this better hold me accountable when I get to CA. I love you very much Brando.

Date Night

Well Tommy and I finally got a Date Night. It had been a long time since we had one. Dena and Uncle Rodger were nice and brave enough to take the girls ALL NIGHT. The girls were excited because I got them McDonald's for dinner (ya I know not very nutritious). They got even more excited when Dena gave them a surprise... a truck full of toys. A lot of Arts and Craft type stuff...which they love and of course some Barbies. I said goodnight to the girls to which Ashley replied "Have fun on your date kissing Daddy" Where does she get this stuff????
Anyway we went to see the movie I Am Legend. Kelly and Steve Duncan met us there. I would have to say that it was the most intense movie I had ever seen. I told Kelly I needed a massage after it.
After the movie we went to Cracker Barrel for Desert. I love to browse through the Country Store. There is a lot of really cute stuff there. We had desert, well Tommy did. My stomach wasn't felling too good so he had both. Steve and Kelly shared a sundae. Well had a taste of one it wasn't too big. By the time we got home we just crashed since Tommy had to work the next day and I wasn't feeling to good. Even though it was nice to get out with him talk and enjoy or time together. I am extremely blessed to have such a great husband.
Well I am off to get the girls. We have Upward Basketball so I need to save Dena and get the girls ready.

Life after the Holidays.

Is your Homework done? Pick up your mess! What's for dinner? Is your homework done??? All of it??? oh ya my favorite..IS YOUR HOMEWORK ALL DONE YET???I think Allie is going to be a lawyer. She likes to argue about everything. We tell her one thing she tries to negotiate something else. Ashley...that child is just a mess, in every form of the word. Don't get me wrong I thank the Lord everyday for them. I wouldn't trade them for anything...especially when they are curled up in bed asleep for the night.
Well we are back in the swing of things here at the Clymens house. I am still trying to figure out my cleaning and gym schedule that will work with me going to work too. I do miss all the extra time I had to do whatever whenever. But I do however like the paycheck every other week. Since I am bringing in some extra money I am hoping to go out to California for Spring Break/Easter. It should work out perfect because this is the first time our Spring Break is the same as yours in Ca. since we moved. The girls and I will most likely stay the whole week. Tommy said he would only get a few days off. I pray nothing will happen this time so we can make it out there.
Upward Basketball starts this weekend. Allie is Cheering and Ashley decided to play Basketball. Ashley has practice tomorrow evening with Tommy. I will let you know how Upward goes.
Until then Love you all!

Day Out with Ashley

Saturday Allie had a Birthday party to go to and Tommy had to work...so it was just Ash and I. I love those days that Tommy and I can do something special with one of the girls. Directing all the attention to just them. It is amazing what funny things you find out. Ashley had a few. Saturday was also a "curl up and die" day. On or way to drop Allie off I called Tommy at work. After I heard the "Hello" I answered back "How is my "Love Slave" today? To which there was dead silence and than a little chuckle. then the reply. " I don't think Tom would like you flirting with me'. again there was dead silence. Then I heard Tommy's voice. IT WAS HIS BOSS!!! can you believe my luck! Well Tommy sure had fun with it. I for one wanted to die.
Anyway Ashley and I started the day having lunch at LaCaretta...It was her choice. She said it was better than McDonald's as it turned out it was even faster and cheaper. Wow that is a compliment. I thought in her eyes Mc D's ruled. Anyway she made it clear that she loved my tacos better but I did need some work on the Spanish rice;'). After lunch we brought Tommy a Blast from Sonic. Then it was off to get shoes. She got all excited because they had Heely's there and they were on sale. So she told me she would trade her $50.00 WalMart gift card if I would by the Heely's for her. I made the deal but I did also get her a little something at Walmart to make up the difference. When that was all said and done we headed for Johnson City to Libby Lu's. She wasn't able to have her birthday there so we had store credit. The hole time all she did was worry about Allie getting upset because she didn't get to go to. I tried to tell her that this was her day but she just had to get something for her "Sister". She wouldn't even make anything or get a makeover for fear of hurting her "sisters" feelings. "Sister" is what the girls call each other...they rarely use actual names. From Libby Lu's we went to WalMart. I was looking at the Christmas clearance aisle and got a great deal on boxes and lighted Garland to which Ashley informed me. "Mom isn't Christmas over? (I think that was the Tommy in her) you don't need it anymore". The lady next to me had a great laugh.
I better start getting ready for church. Love you all!

Snow Day means NO SCHOOL or WORK!!!

Today school was cancelled do to the icy roads. Tommy and Allie spent the day putting up the trim in her bedroom. Ashley and I went to Dena's to help her with her blog site. She was going a little crazy trying to figure things out. So I spent about three hours helping her...well doing it for her ;'). Finally I think she was happy. Anyway after we got home Tom and Debbie wanted to take us to dinner then Jennifer called to tell us they were going to see...

We liked that idea so we went to Garfield's (Tommy's fav) to eat then went to the theater. The Foxes and the McKay's met us there. The movie was so great. It has been a while since Tommy has actually laughed out loud at a movie. I personally want my very own chipmunk...mainly Theodore. I think he stole the show...too cute. The Clymens Family gives it 4 Thumbs up.
Well looks like we have school tomorrow. Oh well at least we do have a 2 hour delay so we get to sleep in a little.

It's a White New Year

It started to snow Tuesday night so when we woke up Wednesday morning the girls were excited! They got all bundle up and went outside.

New Year's Eve

Tommy and I decided to have a get together with some of our good friends from church and family. We kicked things off at 6:00 when Tommy's family stopped by to exchange Christmas gifts. All our friends started to arrive around 7:00. We ate....a lot. The kids played really well together, Allie and Ashley made really good babysitters for the little ones. They played school. The adults talked and played a couple games. I am happy to announce that the Women...YES the Woman won in the Worst Case Scenario game (Survivor) and To my surprise the men won in the battle of the sexes. After those games some of us drifted away to play the Marble Game. This game is evil...but we love it. I am trying to get Tommy to make me one.
All in all we had a great night with a lot of good memories. Happy New Year!
