Getting back to the living

Well I am slowly recovering. Strep Throat is the one thing that really knocks me down for the count. Thankfully my at home nurse got to take a couple of days off work to take good care of me. I also thank his bosses at work for allowing him to take care of "ALL" his girls the past couple of days. As Jennifer put it..he must have a very understanding Boss. Well from what Tommy tells me they ARE wonderful Christian men that really care about their employees. That is something that is hard to find these days. I just pray Tommy doesn't get sick too! I know I gave him a bit of a hard time yesterday but all in all he did a great job with the girls. He even took Allie to the doctor yesterday and went grocery shopping...so Thank You Dear, I love You (Yes he is a blog stalker).

Today I plan on trying to regain some energy since I haven't really ate much of anything and the girls went back to school from Snow Days. It wasn't easy to be stuck on my room by myself and not get up to take pictures of them playing in the snow. Tommy teased me about me complaining and saying I needed a break from them...well I got it the hard way!

On a more happy note, I stepped on the scale this morning and I have lost 7 lbs. I am not proud with the way I lost it and I know once I start eating again, it will all come back on... doubled with my luck. But I'll take the loss for now.

Except for our last day of Upward on Saturday...I plan on on taking it easy. So you all have a great weekend!

I finally made it back to the gym this morning. I had stopped going because of Back & Hip problems but since we bought that new memory foam mattress pad it has done wonders for me. So as of today I burned about 500 calories. Staring out slow but hey at least I started. You all have a great day gotta go get ready for work!

Friends, Family and Fun

This weekend has been a busy one with late nights. First on Friday after school the girl's and I went to Family Night at the book fair which stared at 5:30 then I had to pick Dena up at 6:00 and Jennifer up at 6:15 to go to a Pampered Chef party at Cheryl's house. It was themed the Chocolate Bliss. I will sum it up for you in one word...YUM. Thankfully the brownies had nuts in them so I didn't eat but one very small piece of those. While at the party we were informed that Michael and the boys were hanging out at our house with Tommy. So after the party Jennifer and I ran some errands...store for goodies, my house to get Jennifer's house key so she could take care a a few things at home while I played with Miss Daisy. The Men and the kids went to sell Tommy's truck. Then we all met back at the house for a few rounds of Skip BO.

Unlike the weekend with the Duncan's I turned out to be the winner of the night...to Mr. Foxes dismay. HA! They left a little before midnight.

Poor Tommy had to get up for work. The Ashley slept in and Allie played on webkinz while I got a couple loads of laundry done. Then it was rush rush to get ready for Upward. Allie cheered at 12:30. Ashley played at 2:50. We had to fit in getting lunch and snacked in between. After the games we can home and spent some family time together watching Underdog.

Underdog

It was a cute movie for the whole family. While the girl's took showers and Tommy studied. I put together a blogspot for my sister. I hope she likes it.

Well I am off to get ready for church it another busy Sunday. Have a great day!!!!

Limited Posts

Is anyone else having problems with their spell check? Well until Blogger fixes mine my post will be very limited. I just don't have the time to look up all the words I need to. I am probably the worst speller in the world.

Ok so anyway let me get you all caught up so my Aunt will quick giving me a hard time.
We had a very much needed time away to rest and relax. We went to Pigeon Forge with our friends the Duncans and stayed in a cabin. The cabin was called Mary's Peace and it was very peaceful. We went up there after Ashley's basketball game which by the way they won...Yeah Ash! Kelly and I played cards (she won) while the guys watched tv and the girl's played pool downstairs. Sunday was all about the Daytona 500 and good food. Tommy and I started watching the race while Steve and Kelly watched a movie and the girl's played in the hot tub. We snuck out to get some dinner at The Old Mill. The food was great. After dinner we went to the candy store. They had Chocolate Covered Strawberries...YUM!!! They are my favorite. We got a very good deal on them too. Less than $6.00 for like 3 pounds. They were selling them for $15.65 a pound. On our way out of the store I saw some more in the window so I said I wanted them too, the lady just grabbed them and handed them to me ...NO CHARGE. I was smiling all the way back to the cabin.

We got back just in time to see the last 30 laps of the race. Needless to say to my disappointment Matt Kenseth was out and to my Excitement Jeff Gordon was out too....He He!!!

After the race we played Skip Bo and the girls played Fish. After I finally won a game (I was the Big Loser of the weekend) we watched Wild Hogs. The movie was very funny but the language wasn't great for the kids.

Monday we cleaned up the cabin and went shopping at the Outlets. They had some really good deals at The Children's Place. We had lunch at the Apple Barn. I think I gained another 5 pounds over the weekend. So much for me trying to lose weight before going back to California. Oh well it was worth it, we had a great time.

Here are a few pic's.

Love WAS in the Air

Happy Day AFTER Valentines Day everyone, Sorry I got a little sidetracked the past few days. We had so much going on...So let me get you caught up.
Valentine's day came early for Allie. We went to the Fox house Wednesday so Allie and her Special "Boy" Friend Jarrett could exchange gifts. You will see by the expression on Allie's face (pictures courtesy of Jennifer) she loved her gift and she has slept on it everynight.

She said she even sleeps better now!

Jarrett with his gift from Allie

Too Cute! They crack us up. It is so hard to get them to take pictures together.

Ashley opening her gift from the Fox Family!

Since I started working it has been real hard to juggle being the Homeroom Mom for Allie's class and still work. I had to sit at the doors to get all the parents to sign-in as they arrived for the parties. I was watching my watch because as soon as I got done I had to race over to Allie's class to get the party going. Here are a few pics from Allie's party.

Balloons were flying when I walked in.

Time to eat! Then the games began

Tommy was off so he spent most the time at Ashley's party. I peeked in for this quick pic of Ashley and her friends.

After school we went home and chilled. Tommy and Ashley had Upward Practice. Allie and I stayed home and I searched for plane tickets. Since we have plans to go out of town this weekend after Ashley's game, Tommy and I didn't do anything. I got a great gift. The girls and I are "GOIN" BACK 2 CALI"... yep, I got the tickets today. So we will be spending Spring Break there. Since Tommy can't go My Aunt is traveling with me to help out with the girls. Those of you who know them know how much help I 'm gonna need. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE MY GIRLS

Well you all have a great weekend!!!! I know I will...

What's Your Sign?

My Aunt Kathy sent me a email about what your sign means. I forwarded it to you all. Anyway, So I looked at mine and thought WOW is really does fit me... that is EXCEPT for the "Patient" part. In that area I have a big Fat ZERO! The Temper Tantrum part Tommy would agree with totally. But what do you all think? Now Be honest even if it is brutally honest.

Here's What is says about me

TAURUS - The Enduring One (April 20 - May 20) Charming but aggressive. Can come off as boring, but they are not. Hard workers. Warm-hearted. Strong, has endurance. Solid beings that are stable and secure in their ways. Not looking for shortcuts. Take pride in their beauty. Patient and reliable. Make great friends and give good advice. Loving and kind. Loves hard - passionate. Express themselves emotionally. Prone to ferocious temper-tantrums. Determined. Indulge themselves often. Very generous.

Ok Now let me know what you think!

What Season Is This????

Ok I know that Tennessee is known for showing all the 4 Seasons...but all in ONE WEEK???
Tuesday on our way out of school Allie mentioned that it was a good day to go out on the boat. Being the evil wife that I am, I told her to call her dad and tease him because he was stuck at work on such a beautiful day (72 degrees to be exact). So she did and to our surprise he was already at home with the boat loaded. I wasn't to sure about going because we had homework and Allie had cheerleading that evening. Well we worked it out that Allie would bring her homework to do on the boat while Tommy and Ashley fished and then Tommy and Ashley would do homework while Allie and I were at cheerleading. We had a good time. It was really nice to be able to get out as a family. Here are a few of my favorite pics.

Allie didn't like the worms :-) I know it's a little blurry but she was squeallingTommy and Ashley My Kids

On our way back in I caught the girls in this sweet moment...
there aren't to many of these!

We stayed out until sunset

Our Beautiful Girls!

Wednesday brought us back to reality with the cold and a real bad storm. We had a tornado drill at school but I haven't heard of one actually hitting here. We took it easy that night, I had a bit of a headache.

Thursday was even colder with temps. back in th 30's. They're also calling for snow this weekend. We'll see! Today after school Tommy was already off and wanting to take the boat out again...I told him he was CRAZY it was too cold! So we caught up on LOST, It look to be a interestion season.

While Tommy and Ashley went to Basketball practice, Allie and I went to meet little Miss Daisy Fox. She is too cute. You will have to check out the pics on Jennifer's blog. It was good to see the Fox Family smile again.

You've got 2 B Kidding Me!!!

This morning I was sooo proud of myself. I got up at 6:30 went and woke Allie up for tutoring. My morning was going great. My MP3 player even synced without any problems...all WAS good. I dropped Allie of at school and with a smile on my face I headed to the gym. I even called Jennifer to tell her.
Well I pulled into the parking lot, got out, put my hand on the door and WHAT! The door was locked. Wouldn't that be my luck. It seems on Tuesdays and Thursdays it doesn't open until 8:30, THAT"S JUST GREAT!. I was counting on going on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays since Wednesday and Friday I help out at the school before checking in for my "get paid for" work at 10:30. I will have to figure something else out. Here I go again rearranging my schedule. Hopefully Allie's teacher will let me switch days. I hope the rest of my day goes better!

Forgive Me Blog Police

I KNOW I KNOW!!! I am getting really bad about updating my blog... but hey I have been really busy. So lets start with ....
Thursday. After school we did homework then Allie and I went to see Jarrett play basketball while Ashley and Tommy went to Upward practice.
Friday..hmmm what did we do??? Oh yeah Tommy wasn't feeling to good so we watched a movie and went to bed early because...
Saturday started at 7:00 am. We had to get Allie to the church gym for cheerleading at 9:00. Then back home so I could finish getting ready...YES I left the house before even drying my hair. Miss Aleah Duncan came home with us to play with the girls. Then it was back to the church gym for Ashleys game at 2:30. It was a great game. Ashley got paired up against Macey.I thought she wouldn't play too hard against her but boy did those two girls put on a show. Macey would steal the ball from Ash then Ash would steal it right back...they went back and forth for a while. I was cracking up. The game was tied at the half but in the end the Lady Panthers pulled off the win. It was a very close game, both teams did a great job. After Upward we went home and played some more basketball while Tommy was playing with his new toy. After a while Dena and Uncle Rodger came by. Uncle Rodger gave Ashley some basketball tips and even Dena got in on the action and actually MADE A BASKET herself!!!
Sunday we went to early service because we took the girl's to see the Hannah Montana 3D movie. It was a good concert. We went home so Tommy could tinker with his new toy some more before heading back to the evening church service. While Tommy was tinkering around I got a call from Jennifer. I am so sad to say that their little boy (cat) tiger got hit by a car and is no longer with us. We will miss that little guy. I really enjoyed when Jennifer went on vacation and I got to take care of him for her. He was such a good kitty. So friendly and sweet. :-(.
Allie with Tiger

You will have to check out Jennifer's blog for some more cute pics. That kitty was sooooo loved!!!

Well, There was NO Super Bowl for this family. I couldn't even tell you who was playing. For me I can't wait for Daytona. Now that's what I call a SUPER Bowl. After evening service we went to Cracker Barrel with the Duncans. I don't like eatting that late but the company was great so I can't complain too much.

Now it it Monday...back to school. Same old Monday stuff.. homework, launrdy and more homework. I also got our taxes done tonight so it looks like I might be able to make that trip to CALI....we shall see

Well here it is fokes...

Is he a Redneck or just plain cheap???
I say both! HEE HEE I love you Dear!
